Princess Elizabeth ~ An American Girl Photo Shoot

So today I have a photo shoot of beautiful Elizabeth!! ;D

I curled Elizabeth's hair and I just love it!! ;D

It almost seems that she was born to be a princess! ;)

Love how the sun sets just right in this photo.

Barbie Head Swap

As you can see #14 Powder Pink can not move and has her right elbow permanently bent in that pose. Our local toy store had the Barbie Style Dolls on sale. We bought some to do some plastic surgery on our dolls (switch doll heads). The Toy Doctor is in and we want to help you. :)

Our made to move Teresa Barbie is great but her face does not have eyelashes like the Teresa Barbie Style doll so let's switch the heads!

I can actually hold this beautiful rose. Go smell the roses today. God made all these beautiful plants for us to enjoy and see His wonderful creation.

*Review* LOTR| Galadriel Dress for American Girl Dolls| From Etsy Shop: Rainbow Lily Designs

I got this gorgeous Galaderiel dress from Rainbow Lily Designs' Etsy shop. Check out her shop she has a lot of really adorable doll outfits there!!! :D

Here is a picture of Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings (LOTR) movie.

Rainbow Lily Designs' reproduction of Galadriel's dress is very close to the movie version. Modeling this beautiful outfit is my doll Caroline. Caroline looks absolutely stunning in this gown!!!  

The gown itself fits very well on Caroline, the gown would look lovely on any other doll.

This brooch is not just a cheap piece of plastic it's a metal type of material and is sewn on so well that you can barely even see that it is sewn on. The brooch adds a very majestic look to the dress.

The sleeves, sash, and bottom of Galadriel's dress touch the floor and trail behind.

Galadriel's dress closes in the back with velcro and has a cute little label that says Handmade with Love plus Rainbow Lily Designs' Etsy shop.

The sash is very elegant and also blends in with the dress very well.

The sleeves on this dress are made with a very nice lace which can be folded over or can just hang down.

Our Generation Custom Tauriel Doll

This is a rescue/ restoration that we did with an Our Generation that we renamed, Tauriel.

We decided to make a custom Tauriel doll from an Our Generation doll. Tauriel is from the movies; The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

We found an Our Generation doll at Savers for $4.99 with most of her hair already removed. Poor doll! :(

Tauriel has a hair weave made of  100% Nutura hair that I found at a thrift store. I used Gorilla super glue on the head of Tauriel to fasten on the hair weave around the head in a circle. This technique worked beautifully. You can comb and curl her hair without a problem.
 Many years ago I watched a video by Stephenswodadancer
"How to Rewig Your American Girl Doll Using A Weave", which inspired me to do this.  I  basically followed this video to rewig Tauriel. Tauriel looks amazing!

I know that the outfit Tauriel is wearing isn't accurate to her character, but we will try to get a Tauriel outfit for her.

Doll restoration

Here is the before picture of  my new doll, Lily. My Mom got her off of Ebay. Lily is a My American Girl doll #21.

Here is Lily after I dressed her and fixed her hair with a brush,water,and a toothbrush.  The toothbrush is just used for doll's hair.
