*Review* LOTR| Galadriel Dress for American Girl Dolls| From Etsy Shop: Rainbow Lily Designs

I got this gorgeous Galaderiel dress from Rainbow Lily Designs' Etsy shop. Check out her shop she has a lot of really adorable doll outfits there!!! :D
Here is a picture of Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings (LOTR) movie.

Rainbow Lily Designs' reproduction of Galadriel's dress is very close to the movie version. Modeling this beautiful outfit is my doll Caroline. Caroline looks absolutely stunning in this gown!!!

The gown itself fits very well on Caroline, the gown would look lovely on any other doll.

This brooch is not just a cheap piece of plastic it's a metal type of material and is sewn on so well that you can barely even see that it is sewn on. The brooch adds a very majestic look to the dress.

The sleeves, sash, and bottom of Galadriel's dress touch the floor and trail behind.

Galadriel's dress closes in the back with velcro and has a cute little label that says Handmade with Love plus Rainbow Lily Designs' Etsy shop.

Love how the back of the gown trails behind Caroline!!

The sash is very elegant and also blends in with the dress very well.

The sleeves on this dress are made with a very nice lace which can be folded over or can just hang down.

I totally just adore this dress!!!! Please click the link and check out Rainbow Lily's Etsy shop  there are a lot of LOTR themed costumes for your dolls to wear!!

Galadriel resisting the temptation of the ring!! All you LOTR fans know what I'm talking about if you have seen the movie!! Please comment down below and let us know what you think of Galadriel's dress. Thanks for reading!! ;)

How to Restyle Curly/Kinky Doll Hair

This is Mercy one of our sweet Our Generation dolls. She is a Kaylee doll from the Our Generation line at Target. I re-curled her hair by finger curling a couple pieces of hair together. You can see what she originally looked like before by looking down below.

Mercy as she originally looked before the re-curl. I loved her original hair style but she is even more beautiful now.
This started as an experiment to see if this would work and what her hair would look like. We were a little worried as we had never seen this done before but I think it turned out rather nicely. What do you think?
Deborah is one of our little cuties from the My Life line from Walmart. Her hair was done the same way by finger curling a couple pieces of hair together.

This is the back side of  Deborah's curls. Finger curling is not hard it is just time consuming so you can do it too. If your are interested and want more instruction on this please let us know and comment below :)

How to do a flower braid side ponytail on your doll.

How to do a flower braid side ponytail on your doll.
I'm going to show you how to do a beautiful flower braid side ponytail.
1. Gather a medium section of hair

2. Separate into three sections

3. Begin doing a normal braid and continue all the way down.
4. Tie off braid with a clear elastic, then gather the rest of the hair into a side ponytail. Tie off ponytail with another clear elastic.

5. Secure the beginning of the braid against the side of your doll's head with a couple of mini clips.

6. Roll the braid towards the side ponytail in till you have a circle shape, then tuck the end of the braid under the circle, shape the braid to look like a rose or flower.

7. Clip into place with several mini clips and your done!! I originally got this hairstyle from American Girl Fan's website. I hope you have fun trying out this hairstyle!!!
