*Review* Our Generation A Cut of Lace Outfit

This Our Generation outfit is perfect for Lea!

Our Generation A Cut of Lace outfit.

This OG outfit Contains a messenger bag, one white shirt, one jean vest, one pair of pants, and pink shoes.    

This outfit looks amazing on Lea!! ;)

The messenger bag is faux leather and closes with velcro.

The white shirt has a lace type of material in the front and is great for mix and matching with other outfits.

The pink shoes that come with this OG outfit unfortunately don't really match with this outfit, and they won't close around Lea's ankle.

Our Generation Rescue Dolls

I'm sure as soon as you saw this picture you probably thought what did you do to that poor doll!!! :( I didn't do a thing, except fix her up and give her a new home. ;) I found this Our Generation doll at a thrift store for a reasonable price.

Ahhhhh!! :O

• Ask an adult for help while doing this process :)

• Wash hair with gentle shampoo and rinse out

• Put conditioner in the doll's hair and leave in for 30 minutes
• Dunk in hot water then rinse several times in hot water
• Get a wire brush, take small sections of hair and carefully brush out the tangles
• To curl doll's hair
• Take one section of the doll's hair at a time
• Twist one whole piece of hair around a pencil
• Gently slide the hair off the pencil and stick a bobby pin through the middle.
• Do the rest of the hair in bobby pins and let hair sit for two days.
• Slide out all of the bobby pins and you have beautiful curls!! :D 

Here she is all fixed and dolled up. ;) I am going to name her Susan after one of the characters from the Chronicles of Narnia series. All you Narnia fans know who I'm talking about... By the way I totally recommend the Narnia book and movie series!! I love Narnia!! :D

Now to the second doll, that I named Holly.

Holly's hair doesn't look as bad as Susan's hair, but she had tons of knots in her hair. :(

Here is Holly's hair all fixed. Holly's hair is not as wavy as Susan's.

Looks like Buttercup found a new friend. :)

How to Restyle Curly/Kinky Doll Hair

This is Mercy one of our sweet Our Generation dolls. She is a Kaylee doll from the Our Generation line at Target. I re-curled her hair by finger curling a couple pieces of hair together. You can see what she originally looked like before by looking down below.

Mercy as she originally looked before the re-curl. I loved her original hair style but she is even more beautiful now.

This started as an experiment to see if this would work and what her hair would look like. We were a little worried as we had never seen this done before but I think it turned out rather nicely. What do you think?

 Deborah is one of our little cuties from the My Life line from Walmart. Her hair was done the same way by finger curling a couple pieces of hair together. 

This is the back side of  Deborah's curls. Finger curling is not hard it is just time consuming so you can do it too. If your are interested and want more instruction on this please let us know and comment below :)

Target has these cute puffy jackets for the elf on the shelf, but we thought that this jacket could fit Ken so we tried it out...

Ta Da!! Now I have a winter coat for my Ken dolls. Prince Charming looks pretty good in this jacket!! ;)
